Robert Thomas will be named the 25th captain in St. Louis Blues history during a press conference on Thursday afternoon at Enterprise Center.
Colton Parayko, Philip Broberg, Jake Neighbours and Dylan Holloway will be named assistant captains for the 2026-27 season, which officially begins Oct. 2 in Dallas where the Blues will begin a season-opening three-game road trip.
Fans can watch Thursday’s press conference — which will also feature Blues General Manager Alexander Steen and Head Coach Jim Montgomery — live at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 on YouTube, the Blues App and stlouisblues.com.
Thomas, 27, will become the seventh original Blues draft pick to be named captain after being selected in the first round (No. 20 overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft. The Aurora, Ontario native will be entering his ninth season with the Blues.
