Joonas Donskoi scored twice in the third period to help the Colorado Avalanche extend its winning streak to a season-high seven straight games.
Tyson Jost and Valeri Nichushkin each helped on both of Donskoi tallies while Mikko Rantanen and Nathan MacKinnon had a goal and assist, respectively, to stretch their personal point streaks to six games apiece. Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Nazem Kadri also scored for the Avs.
Goaltender Philipp Grubauer picked up his 19th win of the season in his 200th NHL game, stopping 24 of the 25 shots he faced. Andre Burakovsky, Matt Calvert, J.T. Compher, Gabriel Landeskog and Jacob MacDonald all had assists in the victory.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored Arizona's lone goal on the power play while Antti Raanta stopped 30-of-34 shots.

ROSTER REPORT

Colorado used the same lineup as it did in its previous outing, but goaltender Jonas Johansson backed up Philipp Grubauer. Forwards Jayson Megna, Logan O'Connor and Kiefer Sherwoood, defensemen Greg Pateryn and Dan Renouf and goaltender Adam Werner are on the Avalanche's taxi squad.

INJURY UPDATE

Defenseman Conor Timmins, who last played on March 6, is progressing from his upper-body injury and skated with the team at morning skate and could be medically cleared to play soon. Pavel Francouz (lower body) and Erik Johnson (upper body) remain out long term.
