Semyon Varlamov third jersey Dallas Stars 2018 November 24

The Colorado Avalanche closes out back-to-back division games tonight with a home matchup against the Dallas Stars.

The Avs fell 4-3 in overtime to the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center on Friday.
Semyon Varlamov will get the start between the pipes on Saturday for the Avs, head coach Jared Bednar said after practice on Thursday. The Samara, Russia, native has a 10-7-3 record on the season with a 2.71 goals-against average and .916 save percentage.
Tonight's contest is the second of four scheduled matchups between the Avs and Stars, with the third and fourth games being held at American Airlines Center in Dallas.
The Avalanche did not hold a morning skate today, so the club's exact lineup won't be known until closer to puck drop.
Below is the projected lineup based on how Colorado began Friday's clash at the St. Louis Blues. All line combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
