J.T. Compher, Colorado Avalanche, New Jersey Devils

The Colorado Avalanche concludes a four-game homestand today in a St. Patrick's Day matchup with the New Jersey Devils.
It is the first time that the Avs are playing on March 17 since the 2011-12 season when Colorado defeated the New York Rangers 3-1 at Madison Square Garden. The Avalanche is 5-3-1 all time on St. Patrick's Day, with a 2-1-0 mark at home.

The Avs did not hold a pregame skate due to the 1 p.m. MT puck drop, so the team's exact lineup won't be known until closer to game time.
Colorado won this season's first matchup with New Jersey, 5-3, on Oct. 18 at Prudential Center. Goaltender Philipp Grubauer was between the pipes for the Avs in the win and stopped 27 of 30 shots.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup based on the forward combinations and defensive pairings from the start of Colorado's last game on Friday against the Anaheim Ducks. They are subject to change.
