The Colorado Avalanche looks to earn its first victory of the season when it hosts the St. Louis Blues on Friday for the second game in-a-row at Ball Arena.
The Avs fell 4-1 to the Blues on Wednesday to begin the campaign, the first time since 2015-16 that Colorado has dropped its opening night matchup. Andre Burakovsky scored for the Avalanche, tallying his 10th career man-advantage goal, while goaltender Philipp Grubauer made 28 saves.
