Last week, the Avalanche hosted the 2026 Colorado Avalanche Charity Golf Classic, presented by Kiewit, an event that helps raise money for Avalanche community programs for families and children. Since its inception, the event has raised over $2.75 million. With this support, the Avalanche works to improve lives through the spirit and power of sports.
This year’s classic sold out, with 35 foursomes that were all joined by an Avalanche celebrity. Additionally, there were poker and mulligan contests, presented by IMA.
On the course, there were several contests, including closest to the pin, longest drive and closest to the tree. Additionally, the top three scoring teams each received a game-used and signed stick from an Avalanche player.
This event is a great way to kick off another season of Avalanche hockey while giving back to the community the team represents.
