The Calgary Flames played on Saturday night. And, well, the game was live.

So the team decided to connect the dots for a promo video.
The Flames official Twitter account tweeted an incredbile parody/recreation/homage of the "Saturday Night Live" opening sequence. The team tweeted "Live from Calgary, it's Saturday Night!"

The long-running sketch comedy show, now in its 43rd season on NBC, films in New York City and famously opens every show with the phrase "Live from New York it's Saturday night!"
After announcing most of the Flames roster intercut with scenes from the city, the video introduces its "musical guests," anthem singer George Canyon and house organist Willie Joosen.
Where the rotating guest host would be announced, the Flames changed it to "special guests, the Nashville Predators," the team's opponent for the game.
