Stars host Hockey Fights Cancer Night

As a part of the league-wide initiative, all members of the Stars coaching staff will wear official Hockey Fights Cancer ties on the bench during the game, and Stars players will don lavender jerseys during warmups and lavender stick tape.

shortly after warmups conclude with funds supporting the American Cancer Society health equity research and operations initiative. In addition, funds raised will provide underserved communities with rides to and from cancer-related appointments and screenings.
Tonight's 50/50 raffle, presented by Jim Ross Law Group, will benefit the American Cancer Society, a nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer.
Sticks used during warmups will be made available for auction later this week.

'This ain't the last time that I'll see your face'

• The Stars take on the Oilers for the first time since March 3, 2020 after not playing each other during the 2020-21 campaign. This is the first of three meetings between the two clubs and one of two at American Airlines Center. They'll face each other again at AAC on Tuesday, March 22 before wrapping up the season series on Wednesday, April 20 at Rogers Place.
• In their most recent contest, Dallas fell in overtime to Edmonton, 2-1, at American Airlines Center.
• The Stars come into Tuesday's contest having earned points in seven of the past eight games (5-1-2) against Edmonton, while the club has also earned points in 11 of its past 15 (8-4-3) against the Oilers.
• Dallas has also logged points in 22 of its past 28 games against the Oilers, boasting an 18-6-4 record dating back to the start of the 2011-12 campaign.
• The Stars enter Tuesday's game having earned points in four of their past five games (3-1-1) against Edmonton at American Airlines Center, while the team has posted a 7-2-1 record over its past 10 games against the Oilers on home ice.
• Forward Tyler Seguin has points in three of his past four games (two goals, three assists) against Edmonton and has 10 points (three goals, seven assists) over his past nine games against them. He has amassed nine points (four goals, five assists) vs. the Oilers in 10 career contests at American Airlines Center.
• Captain Jamie Benn has nine points (six goals, three assists) over his past nine games vs. Edmonton. He has points in nine of his past 10 against the Oilers on home ice, amassing 11 points (seven goals, four assists) over that span.
• Defenseman John Klingberg potted a goal in the most recent matchup between the two clubs and has points in seven of his eight games (three goals, seven assists) vs. Edmonton at American Airlines Center.
• Forward Alexander Radulov notched a helper on March 3, 2020 against Edmonton. Radulov has points in four of past five games (one goal, three assists) vs. the Oilers, along with 12 points in seven of his nine games (four goals, eight assists) against them in a Stars uniform.
• Forward Joe Pavelski has 13 points (four goals, nine assists) over his past 12 games against the Oilers. His 54 points (24 goals, 30 assists) in 57 career games vs. Edmonton is his second-highest point total against a single team (most: 55 points vs. Arizona).
• Goaltender Anton Khudobin has a 4-0-2 record in his past six games against the Oilers, registering a 1.56 goals-against average, .946 save percentage and one assist over that stretch.

'I know when you're around 'cause I know the sound'

• Benn notched his first multi-point game of the season (one goal, one assist) on Saturday night against the Blues and has goals in three-straight games (three goals, one assist, four points).
• Benn's three-game streak is his longest since recording goals in three-straight contests last season from Jan. 31-Feb. 4, 2021 (three goals, three assists, six points).
• The native of Victoria B.C. has inked the scoresheet in six of his past eight games, amassing seven points (five goals, two assists) and one game-winning goal over that span.
• Benn has skated in 16 games this season and is tied for the team lead in goals (5) and shares third with nine points (five goals, four assists).
• He also leads the club with a 57.6 faceoff percentage (99-for-172), while pacing Dallas with 40 hits in 2021-22 campaign.

'Now if you never shoot, you'll never know'

• Forward Roope Hintz registered two shorthanded goals vs. St. Louis on Saturday, the third and fourth shorthanded markers of his NHL career.
• With his two shorthanded goals on Saturday, Hintz became the fourth player in franchise history (1967-present) to record two shorthanded goals in a game. He's the first player in Dallas Stars history (1993-present) to accomplish the feat. He's also the first player in franchise history to record two shorthanded goals in a game on home ice. The other three players include Neal Broten (Dec. 3, 1988 at Hartford), Dirk Graham (Nov. 19, 1986 at St. Louis) and Bill Collins (March 7, 1970 at Toronto).
• Additionally, Hintz became the first player in the NHL since Carolina's Sebastian Aho on April 22, 2021 to notch two shorthanded goals in a game.
• Hintz has seven points (five goals, two assists) in his past six games and eight points (five goals, three assists) in 16 appearances this season.

Mask Policy:In accordance with the Dallas County mask order, masks will be required upon entry to American Airlines Center. It is not required to submit a health screening in advance. Health and safety protocols could change at any point based on NHL, federal, state or local guidance.
Bag Policy:Wristlet, clutch or wallet 4.5x6.5 allowed at all entrances. Purses no larger than 14x14x6 will be allowed at designated X-ray entry points. No backpack or large totes allowed. Remote Bag Check at Silver Garage will be available for fans who need to check bags that are too large.
Re-Entry Policy: Re-entry is not allowed at any event at the American Airlines Center. For certain situations such as medical needs, re-entry can be approved by the Guest Services Supervisor at the door.
Smoking Policy: Guests can smoke at JD Patio and ULTRA Club Patio. No smoking areas will be located on Platinum level. All guests must be re-screened prior to entry back into the building.
Cashless Transactions: Be sure to bring your debit/credit card to AAC for cashless transactions. No cash will be accepted.
