The Texas Stars have a hit a rough patch. Texas went 0-2-0 on a California road trip last week, pushing their losing streak to four games. Texas is now 4-5-2 on the season.
The Texas roster is looking a little thin at the moment, especially on defense. The Stars have been without Gavin Bayreuther and Reece Scarlett due to injuries and Dillon Heatherington is with Dallas because of injuries with the big team. Texas is also without an important forward in Justin Dowling, who is also with Dallas at the moment.
Texas, which has surrendered 19 goals during the four-game skid, made a change in its goaltending alignment Monday, bringing in Philippe Desrosiers from the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL and sending Colton Point to Boise.
