ST. LOUIS -- It took all of 18 seconds for the Stars to see the game slip away. Holding a one-goal lead with under a minute to play, the Stars gave up two quick goals and lost 2-1 in heartbreaking fashion to the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center on Sunday.

What should've been their fifth consecutive victory turned into their 10th loss on the road and a reminder of how quickly things can change in this sport. With the setback, the Stars fell to 17-13-2 overall. It was a frustrating ending to what was an otherwise solid road game especially on the second half of back to backs.
The Stars controlled the majority of the first two periods and were rewarded at the 9:16 mark of the middle frame when Jason Robertson tucked in a loose puck at the left post for his 12th goal of the season.
As Robertson put it in his interview afterwards, "it was almost a perfect road game for us."

Braden Holtby kept the Stars alive as long as he could and finished the game with 29 saves on 31 shots. The Blues made their push for the duration of the third period. Two goals with the man advantage made the difference.
The focal point in the final minute came off a non-call when Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen appeared to get tripped behind the net. No penalty was assessed on the play, but moments later Heiskanen took out his frustration with a slash on Blues forward Jordan Kyrou.
With the win, the Blues continued their dominance at home, improving to 11-0-1 at home dating to Nov. 18. Jordan Binnington made 26 saves on 27 shots.
