GOALS GALORE - For the 15th time this season, the Rangers scored six or more goal, tied for the second most in the NHL. The Rangers have scored 41 goals in their last 10 games - the most in the NHL since March 18. When scoring four or more goals, the Blueshirts are now 32-0-0.
MR. RANGER AWARD - Prior to the game, Rangers captain Jacob Trouba was named the recipient of the second annual Rod Gilbert "Mr. Ranger" Award, given to the Rangers player "who best honors Rod's legacy by exemplifying leadership qualities both on and off the ice, and making a significant humanitarian contribution to his community."

  • Mika Zibanejadnotched three assists, including his 600th career point. He is the sixth member of the 2011 draft class to reach the feat. Zibanejad has multi-point games in four of his last nine contests, 18 points in his last 12 games (7G-11A), 26 points in his last 20 (9G-17A) and 37 points in his last 29 games (17G-20A).
    -Adam Fox recorded his second straight 70-point season and became the second defenseman to do so with the Rangers, joining Brian Leetch (2 from 1995-96 - 1996-97 & 2 from 1990-91 - 1991-92). Fox became the fourth active defenseman to record back-to-back 70-point seasons. The others: John Carlson (2 from 2018-19 - 2019-20), Brent Burns (2 from 2015-16 - 2016-17) and Erik Karlsson (2 from 2015-16 - 2016-17).
    -Chris Kreider scored his 34th and 35th goals of the season and took sole possession of fifth place on the Rangers all-time goal list with his 263rd career goal. Kreider has eight goals in his last 13 games. Kreider recorded his 35th career multi-goal game, surpassing Mike Gartner (34) and tying Bryan Hextall Sr. (35) for ninth place on the Rangers' all-time list.
    - Tyler Motterecorded his third multi-goal game of his career and first since January 27, 2021. Motte has points in seven of his last 13 contests (5G-3A).
    - Kaapo Kakko established a career-long point streak with a goal in his third straight game. Kakko has five points (4G-1A) in his last six games.
    -Igor Shesterkin earned his 36th win of the season and has wins in four of his last five games. His 36 wins are tied for the second most in the NHL.
    - K'Andre Miller recorded his 33rd assist of the season, giving him 10 points (3G-7A) in his last 10 games and 12 points in his last 14 games.
