Preds goaltender Juuse Saros added another member to his family when he and wife, Minna, adopted Nala from the local organization Wags and Walks. 

Wags and Walks is a foster-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Nashville, Tennessee that focuses on saving family-friendly dogs and placing them in loving forever homes. The organization works to save at-risk pups from high-kill shelters, takes on medical dogs that are often overlooked because they are costly to save, and welcomes wrongfully stereotyped bully breeds.

​​Friends of MACC works directly with Metro Animal Care and Control (MACC), Nashville’s only open admission shelter that serves nearly 7,000 homeless animals each year. We focus on enriching the shelter environment for animals and people, supporting community programs, and promoting adoptions to help save Nashville’s homeless animals.

Since 1946, Nashville Humane Association has been a safe haven for at-risk, homeless and adoptable pets. NHA is a family of over 60 staff and board members, along with hundreds of fosters, contributors, volunteers, and active supporters all dedicated to our mission of saving lives.

Nashville Humane Association is committed to finding responsible homes, controlling pet overpopulation, and promoting the humane treatment of animals, all while supporting pets and pet-families in our community.
