Lundqvist-heart

Henrik Lundqvist is feeling so good, he went for a run. And he's not even the running type.

The Washington Capitals goalie shared another update on his health Wednesday via his social media accounts.

He underwent the procedure in Cleveland in January and has been recovering in New York City.
"Today is a good day," Lundqvist said in the Tweet. "The checkup with the doctor this morning reaffirmed what I've been feeling last few weeks, everything looking great. It energized me so much I had to go out for a run (FYI, I'm not a runner) Today is a good day! #Stepbystep."
On
his Instagram
, he posted a video of himself running on a waterside path and giving the camera a thumbs up.
Lundqvist has been updating fans
on his health
through social media messages since he announced he would not be able to play this season because of his heart condition Dec. 17.
He signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Capitals on Oct. 9 after the New York Rangers bought out the final year of his contract on Sept. 30. Lundqvist had spent his first 15 NHL seasons with the Rangers.
