Sportsnet will televise "Rogers Hometown Hockey" on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET, prior to the game between the Vancouver Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks. The location this week is Vernon, British Columbia, and the show will celebrate the history of hockey in the city.

Among the features airing on the pregame show:
* Owen Hopkins was chosen as a Junior Trainer for the Vancouver Canucks prior to a game earlier this season and has since been diagnosed with cancer. Canucks defenseman Chris Tanev wore Hopkins' name on the back of his jersey for Hockey Fights Cancer night; also, Hopkins' team, the Cloverdale H4 Wildcats have sent items to him at the hospital and taped their sticks purple to support him.
* A trip with former Toronto Blue Jays catcher and current Sportsnet analyst Gregg Zaun to Silver Star resort in Vernon for some skiing tips.
