Tom Brady with Stanley Cup

Tom Brady may have seven trophies, but none quite like this.

The former NFL superstar quarterback, who won the final of his seven Super Bowl championships with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was back in Florida at loanDepot park on Friday, taking in the sights and sounds of the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic before puck drop.

While at the ballpark, Brady got to hang out with the Stanley Cup.

The five-time Super Bowl MVP also received a custom No. 12 Florida Panthers jersey, the familiar number he wore for the Buccaneers and New England Patriots during his storied career.

The Panthers host the New York Rangers in the marquee outdoor event Friday (8 p.m. ET; HBO MAX, truTV, TNT, SNW, SNO, SNE, TVAS).

The NFL legend also named his six NFL players he would pick to be his Winter Classic hockey team.

Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson, Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs and Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson would be providing the speed as his forwards. On defense he went for size with Lions tackle Penei Sewell and Philadelphia Eagles tackle Lane Johnson on the blue line. For goalie he chose Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matt Stafford.

Earlier, Brady met up with Panthers general manager Bill Zito while checking out the ballpark’s new look, and even got a chance to look at some of the names etched into the Cup.
