Blues make a wish Brendan

The St. Louis Blues announced their newest addition on Thursday.

The team hosted teenager, Brendan Bedwell, from the Make-A-Wish Foundation during their practice at Centene Community Ice Center in St. Louis.

Brendan starts his day off signing a one-day contract with the Blues as forward Robert Thomas and play-by-play announcer Chris Kerber looked on.

The teenager then joined his new teammates for a film session where he was welcomed by head coach Jim Montgomery.

After, Brendan watched the Blues practice from the bench before lacing up his own skates and joining them on the ice. He got to take some shots on goalie Jordan Binnington and field passes from captain Brayden Schenn.

On Friday, Brendan will attend the Blues game against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Enterprise Center and join the team’s broadcast team in the booth.
