PWHL Seattle Vancouver

PWHL Seattle and PWHL Vancouver officially have identities.

On Thursday, the official names of the league’s two new expansion franchises were announced: The Seattle Torrent and the Vancouver Goldeneyes.

The Torrent’s name was inspired by the waterways of Washington and the team’s goal to “carve their own path.” Their primary colors are Slate Green and Shadow and Glacier Blue. The team’s logo features the letter “S” with “Torrent” written in the center.

The Vancouver Goldeneyes’ name comes from the Vancouver bird, Common Goldeneye, which can be found on the city’s coast. Their primary colors are Pacific Blue, Coastal Cream and Earthy Bronze. The team’s logo features a golden eye that is surrounded by wings and points northwest.

Both teams will not wear sweaters with their new logos until next season. This season the teams will sport jerseys with each cities name written down the jersey like the Inaugural Six teams did during the 2024 season.

The Torrent and Goldeneyes will make their PWHL debut on Nov. 21 when they faceoff at Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver as part of the league’s doubleheader opening night for the 2025-26 season.
