Canadiens jerseys

Montreal Canadiens players couldn’t help but smile when checking out their new uniforms for the 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic.

The NHL and Fanatics, the League’s authentic on-ice outfitter, unveiled the jersey designs for the marquee outdoor matchup on Wednesday, and Cole Caufield, Jake Evans, Nick Suzuki and Phillip Danault all got a first look at the sweaters.

“Always dreamed about playing outside, so it’s nice we actually get to do one,” Suzuki said in the video. “I’ve been waiting. We’ll look sharp out there on the ice.”

“Very pumped,” said Caufield. “First outdoor game. Looking to get cold and maybe score.”

The Canadiens’ uniform uses the team’s classic red and blue team colors while adding in a vintage off-white.

In a nod to the franchise’s nickname, the jerseys include “Les Habitants” on the back collar, and the loop label features a fleur-de-lis for the province of Quebec.

The jerseys and additional NHL Heritage Classic merchandise are available beginning today at Fanatics.com, NHLShop.com, NHLShop.ca, the online and physical stores for both teams and the NHL Shop NYC flagship store, with broader retail launch set for Thursday.

The Heritage Classic will be played between the Canadiens and Winnipeg Jets on Sunday, Oct. 25 (7 p.m. ET, SN, TVAS, TNT, truTV, HBO MAX) and Winnipeg’s Princess Auto Stadium.
