Ducks celebrate gibson 500 games

The Anaheim Ducks were ready to Croc and roll for John Gibson on Tuesday.

Before their matchup against the Dallas Stars, the Ducks wore custom T-shirts and Crocs in honor of the veteran goalie's 500th NHL game as they arrived at the Honda Center.

Drawings of Gibson and the words “OC’s Finest” and “500 Games” were written on the shirts.

Each player sported black Crocs which were gifted to the team by forward Ryan Strome and his family for the special night.

During warmups, Gibson's kids held up a homemade sign that read, "Congrats on 500 games Dada! We love you so much." The goalie posed for a picture with his kids through the glass.

Gibson is in his 12th NHL season which have all been played with Anaheim. He is the first goalie in Ducks history to achieve the career milestone.

The veteran goalie is the Ducks all-time games played and saves leader.
