Miikka Salomaki scored a shorthanded goal for Nashville at 10:46 of the first period to tie it 1-1. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 26 saves for Tampa Bay, which finished the preseason 3-4-0 and opens the regular season Oct. 6 against the Florida Panthers. Pekka Rinne made 32 for Nashville, which finished the preseason 2-2-2 and opens the regular season Oct. 5 at the Boston Bruins.
