Sharks season ticket holder has so many Wingels jerseys

Meet Michael Moskie. He's a Tommy Wingels superfan and has the threads to prove it.

It started in jest when his hometown San Jose Sharks traded away his favorite player. Moskie decided to pledge his loyalty to player over team.
Moskie decided then, on Jan. 24, 2017, when the deal happened, that he would wear a customized Wingels jersey of every opponent the Sharks played against for the rest of that season.
Then the collection grew. And grew. And grew.
Wingels has only played for four NHL teams, the Sharks, Ottawa Senators, Chicago Blackhawks and currently the Boston Bruins. Yet here we are, 20 customized Wingels jerseys later. For the unique collection, Moskie has gained a small measure of internet fame.

Moskie's now somewhat-famous tweet was directed at the Chicago Blackhawks, who traded Wingels to the Boston Bruins on Feb. 26. Moskie had planned on seeing his favorite player when the Blackhawks visited San Jose on March 1, but the trade nixed that. Moskie, however, was prepared, wearing his customized Bruins sweater.
"I was a little disappointed about the trade because I was looking forward to seeing Wingels that week," Moskie told NHL.com. "I got a lot of positive feedback about the jersey at the game."
Moskie became a fan of Wingels in 2013 when he attended his first NHL game and Wingels scored. Moskie followed his career closely from there, and Wingels became his favorite player thanks in part to his 31 goals in the 2013-14 and 14-15 seasons.

He's also admired Wingels' work with the You Can Play Project, which works to eradicate of homophobia in sports. His brother, Joe, has also since caught Wingels fever.
"He seemed to be the heart of the team on the Sharks," Moskie said. "Always so positive and bringing the morale of the team up."
So far Wingels hasn't taken notice of Moskie's passion, but Moskie says getting attention from other hockey fans for his quirky collection has been a fun ride.
"The response to my jersey collection has been surreal," Moskie said.
