Rogers Hometown Hockey: Timmins, Ontario

Sportsnet will televise "Rogers Hometown Hockey" on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET, prior to the game between the Arizona Coyotes and Edmonton Oilers. The location this week is Timmins, Ontario, and the show will celebrate the history of hockey in the city.

Among the features airing on the pregame show:
* A look at John Paris Bickell, a Canadian businessman who helped keep the Toronto Maple Leafs in Toronto after they were put up for sale in 1927. Bickell arranged for Conn Smythe, among others, to purchase the Maple Leafs.
* The banners for former Maple Leafs greats Frank Mahovlich and Bill Barilko, which hung at Air Canada Centre, revealed at McIntyre Arena in Timmins.
* A trip to Kidd Mine. The deepest base-metal mine in the world (9,600 feet below surface), it has produced 3.75 million tons of copper since 1966.
