Montreal is playing the second of back-to-back games after extending its winning streak to a season-long four games with a 4-1 win at the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.
Canadiens goaltenders Carey Price and Antti Niemi, who will start, have stopped 155 of 159 shots for a combined save percentage of .975 during the streak.
Montreal, which last won five straight from Nov. 25-Dec. 2, 2017, has allowed two goals or fewer in eight of its past 10 games.
Rookie goaltender Carter Hart is expected to make his fifth consecutive start for Philadelphia, which will look for a third straight win. The Flyers are 3-1-0 in their past four games after an eight-game losing streak (0-7-1).
