The Boston Bruins, who are coming off a 6-1 win against the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday, are 9-3-0 since coach Bruce Cassidy took over for Claude Julien on Feb. 7 and have won six of their past seven home games to improve to 18-14-0 at TD Garden. They lead the Maple Leafs by two points for third place in the Atlantic Division; Toronto has one game in hand. "I think when you get a few games in a row where if you get the wins, you play well, I think it builds some confidence obviously," center Patrice Bergeron said. "That's what had kind of been lacking at home. And it becomes a vicious circle almost. So it was nice to get out of that and realize that we can be a good team, and we have to be a good team at home in order to have success. And now we know that we have a lot more home games in the last stretch so it's going to be even more important to be good at home." Forward Tim Schaller (lower body) won't play and is day to day, and forward Ryan Spooner (concussion) will miss his second straight game. The Bruins are playing their last home game before four on the road, including three games in Western Canada road trip. "We always talk about before leaving, we always want to leave on a good note and feel good about yourself going into the road trip," Bergeron said.
