Nick Jensen signed a two-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The 35-year-old defenseman had 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) in 61 regular-season games for the Ottawa Senators last season while averaging 17:01 of ice time.
Jensen did not play after March 11 because of a knee injury.
Selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the fifth round (No. 150) of the 2009 NHL Draft, Jensen has 172 points (26 goals, 146 assists) in 694 regular-season games for the Red Wings, Washington Capitals and Senators and no points in 33 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
The Ducks also signed forward Jeff Malott to a three-year contract on Wednesday. The 29-year-old had nine points (three goals, six assists) in 58 regular-season games and no points in four playoff games for the Los Angeles Kings last season. He has 10 points in 71 career games for the Winnipeg Jets and Kings.
They also signed goalie Laurent Brossoit to a one-year deal.
The 33-year-old, who won the Stanley Cup with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2022-23, is 64-47-13 in 141 regular-season games with a 2.66 goals-against average and .910 save percentage.
