Nick Jensen signed a two-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 35-year-old defenseman had 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) in 61 regular-season games for the Ottawa Senators last season while averaging 17:01 of ice time.

Jensen did not play after March 11 because of a knee injury. 

Selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the fifth round (No. 150) of the 2009 NHL Draft, Jensen has 172 points (26 goals, 146 assists) in 694 regular-season games for the Red Wings, Washington Capitals and Senators and no points in 33 Stanley Cup Playoff games.

The Ducks also signed forward Jeff Malott to a three-year contract on Wednesday. The 29-year-old had nine points (three goals, six assists) in 58 regular-season games and no points in four playoff games for the Los Angeles Kings last season. He has 10 points in 71 career games for the Winnipeg Jets and Kings.
