Getzlaf missed the past four games with a groin injury sustained in a 1-0 win at the Arizona Coyotes on Oct. 6. He has led the Ducks in scoring in five of the past six seasons. Islanders goalie Thomas Greiss is trying for his 100th NHL win. He is 3-3-2 against the Ducks. The Islanders are playing the fourth of six consecutive games against Western Conference teams that qualified for the Stanley Cup Playoffs last season. They are 1-2-0 so far and visit the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday and San Jose Sharks on Saturday.

Islanders forward Anders Lee has three points (two goals, one assist) in a three-game point streak. The Ducks and Vegas Golden Knights are the only teams Lee has not scored a goal against in his NHL career. Ducks defenseman Hampus Lindholm has six points (one goal, five assists) in a four-game point streak. He scored in overtime for his first career hat trick in a 5-4 win against the Islanders on Dec. 21.
