A couple of youth hockey teams got the surprise of a lifetime on Wednesday, thanks to the Minnesota Wild.

In the team's first Youth Hockey Spotlight, the Wild descended on a 12U girls hockey game in Stillwater, Minn. and recreated the in-game experience from Xcel Energy Center, complete with Wild assistant coaches Scott Stevens and John Anderson, mascot Nordy, P.A. announcer Adam Abrams, anthem singer James Bohn, and postgame interviews with Kevin Gorg from Fox Sports North.
The parents and coaches knew it was coming, but the players did not and were shocked to find their own Wild equipment bags and nameplates in their lockers.

Stevens and Anderson were each assigned as an assistant coach for the two teams and gave pregame speeches.

One player, Kylie Ligday, got an extra surprise from her uncle Josh, who had been deployed and came home to see her game.
"It's an unbelievable experience for those girls," Jim Ligday, Kylie's grandfather

"I watched their faces as they were skating around out there. Smiles everywhere."
