Coming on December 15, Cinedigm and NHL Original Productions will release "Tampa Bay Lightning: 2020 Stanley Cup Champions," a behind-the-scenes look at the team's journey from Opening Night of the 2019-20 season, through the paused season and into the bubbles in Toronto and Edmonton where they emerged as the champs.
The exclusive footage chronicles the Lightning's entire season and will be available for purchase on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download.
The Lightning's 2020 playoffs were destined to be unforgettable, starting with a five-overtime, six-hour epic Game 1 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets, the very team that swept them from the first round of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
From there, resounding series wins against the Boston Bruins and New York Islanders pitted them against the Western Conference champion Dallas Stars. They won the Cup in six games.
