LeBron James meets, touches Stanley Cup

LeBron James might be looking to add another trophy to his collection.

The NBA star acquainted himself with the Stanley Cup on the set of a new episode of his show "The Shop" in New York City in late May.
James was all smiles checking out the names on the Cup.
The Los Angeles Lakers forward proved he didn't believe in superstitions when he touched the iconic trophy. Many players, coaches and fans think it's bad luck to touch the Stanley Cup until you've officially won it and can hoist it at the end of the season.

This isn't James' first brush with hockey. He became a partial owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins in December after
the Fenway Sports Group bought the team,
which he has a stake in.
Maybe James will lift the Cup next season.
