NSH@VGK: Paul Shaffer sings the national anthem

The Vegas Golden Knights called in a legend to sing the national anthem before their game against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday.

Paul Shaffer, the Canadian singer and former bandleader for "Late Night with David Letterman," was on the keyboard to produce a stirring rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner before Vegas' game at T-Mobile Arena.
Shaffer, 68, displayed his signature soulful voice and delivered a Vegas-worthy performance. The former Grammy Award winner was Letterman's sidekick for 33 years and is in Las Vegas for a limited run performing with his band the Shaf-Shifters at Caesars Palace.
