Aleksander Barkov scored the last of three goals for the Florida Panthers in the third period of a 3-2 victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena on Tuesday.
Barkov scored the game-winner at 12:31. It was his first goal of the preseason. Evgenii Dadonov, who had an assist on Barkov's goal, brought the Panthers within 2-1 at 2:16, and Aaron Ekblad tied it 2-2 with a shorthanded goal at 7:03. Adam Erne gave the Lightning a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal 4:17 into the second period, and Alex Killorn made it 2-0 at 10:15. J.T. Miller had an assist on each goal. James Reimer made 27 saves for the Panthers, and Andrei Vasilevskiy made 25 for the Lightning. Tampa Bay forward Nikita Kucherov left the game in the first period with a lower-body injury.
