The Florida Panthers are taking a trip down memory lane with a special 30th anniversary logo, which the team released Wednesday.

The logo includes the leaping cat logo, with an added broken stick with three red bands to symbolize three decades of hockey and the three retired jersey numbers with the franchise (Bill Torrey, Wayne Huizenga and Roberto Luongo).

The number 30 is front and center on the logo for the 30th anniversary with a red ribbon below it with the date of the inaugural season (1993) and a sun as a nod to the "Sunshine State."

The franchise first reached the Stanley Cup final in 1996 -- just its third season -- and again this past season.
