WPG@ARI: Mullets on display at Mullett Arena

It was maybe the most appropriate fan giveaway in the history of NHL home openers.

The Arizona Coyotes, after beginning the season on a six-game road trip, got to play their first game at Arizona State University's Mullett Arena, their new and temporary home, on Friday.
To celebrate, the team gave out mullets.

Each fan had a mullet wig with a Coyotes Kachina throwback logo shirt on their seat before the team took on the Winnipeg Jets on Friday.

Coyotes forward Lawson Crouse modeled one of the hairpieces before the game.

The ice was ready and the fake flow was, well, flowing. Because when in Mullett, why not wear a mullet?
