Blackhawks forward Hayden fined for high sticking

Assessed $2,486.56 for first-period infraction in game vs. Lightning on Wednesday

NEW YORK- Chicago Blackhawks forward John Hayden has been fined $2,486.56, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for high-sticking Tampa Bay Lightning forward JT Brown during NHL Game No. 328 in Tampa on Wednesday, Nov. 22, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 5:49 of the first period. Hayden was assessed a double-minor penalty for high-sticking.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
