Carlyle to be named Ducks coach: report

Anaheim expected to make hiring official Tuesday

Randy Carlyle will be named Anaheim Ducks coach on Tuesday, TSN reported Monday night.
Carlyle, 60, was Ducks coach from 2005-2011, winning the Stanley Cup in 2007. He was 273-182-61 in the regular season and 36-26 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with Anaheim.

The Ducks have been without a coach since April 29, when Bruce Boudreau was fired following a seven-game loss to the Nashville Predators in the Western Conference First Round. Boudreau replaced Carlyle behind Anaheim's bench in November 2011.
Carlyle most recently coached the Toronto Maple Leafs, who fired him Jan. 6, 2015, after he went 91-78-19 in parts of four seasons with them. Toronto never won a Stanley Cup Playoff series under Carlyle, losing in seven games to the Boston Bruins in 2013 in its only appearance.
The Calgary Flames are the only other NHL team without a coach.
