With seven members of the Winnipeg Jets set to return from the World Cup in the coming days, the pace at Iceplex is expected to only increase according to Bryan Little.
"I'm sure they would rather go deeper in the tournament, but it's nice to have them back and healthy," Little said of Blake Wheeler, Dustin Byfuglien, Mark Scheifele, Jacob Trouba, Connor Hellebuyck, and Patrik Laine.

"They've already played some pretty competitive games so they're going to come back in camp in the best shape they can."
Little is looking forward to skating alongside 2016 NHL Draft second overall pick, Laine.

"It would be fun to play with him. I've watched him a bit at the World Cup and over the summer. He's a special player, and that would be a pretty fun guy to have on your wing," said Little. "But I know once camp comes around, anything can get shifted around. Once the season starts, they can play with combinations all year. We'll see what happens but I'm definitely excited to get a chance to play with him."
Head coach Paul Maurice and head equipment manager Jay McMaster - both with team Europe - are the only two members of the Winnipeg Jets still in Toronto.
