Sabourin fined for actions in Senators game against Jets

Forward assessed $1,881.72 for unsportsmanlike conduct

NEW YORK - Ottawa Senators forward Scott Sabourin has been fined $1,881.72, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for unsportsmanlike conduct during NHL Game No. 937 in Ottawa on Thursday, Feb. 20, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 11:23 of the third period. Sabourin was assessed a 10-minute misconduct.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
