THIS WEEK'S NEWS, NOTES AND NUMBERS…
STAT OF THE WEEK:The Bruins have outshot their opponents by 25 or more shots on goal in three games this season (11/13 @ COL, 11/19 vs. WPG, 11/29 @ PHI). No other team in the NHL has outshot an opponent by 25 shots or more this season.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK: "He deserves a lot of accolades tonight, the way he played, the way he responded after being out such a long time. I think the fact that he went to Providence and played some games there really helped him get back on track, I guess, and tonight he showed that he was ready to play. He made some big plays for us, you know, solid in the shootout. So you couldn't ask more from him and there's no doubt that there was a lot of confidence that grew in that dressing room by watching his play and knowing that we have two goaltenders that can play extremely well for us." - Head Coach Claude Julien on Anton Khudobin's performance in the team's 2-1 SO win vs. Carolina on 12/1
TWEET OF THE WEEK (WEEK 12):@GlobeFluto (Fluto Shinzawa, Boston Globe)" Tuukka Rask. Wall-like. Catching Donald Trump's interest."
HONORABLE MENTIONS:@\TyAnderson (Ty Anderson, WEEI.com): "David Pastrnak's
