NEWARK, NJ -Team Niedermeyer, headlined by 2019 first-overall pick Jack Hughes, won the 2019 Development Camp 3-on-3 Tournament.
The squad bested three other teams compiled of Devils prospects and camp invites. Team Niedermeyer, who wore white jerseys, was backstopped by Akira Schmid, with the forward group consisting of Hughes, Danny Weight, Tyce Thompson, Brandon Gignac, and Blake Speers. The defencemen were Reilly Walsh, Xavier Bernard, and Jeremy Grouleau.
