Christian Fischer, Derek Stepan, Brad Richardson and Michael Grabner scored for Arizona. Fischer gave the Coyotes a 1-0 lead 4:19 into the game before Stepan made it 2-0 with a power-play goal at 16:49 of the first period. Richardson made it 3-0 at 11:25 of the second period. Nikolay Goldobin ended Kuemper's shutout at 10:49 of the third period to make it 3-1. Grabner made it 4-1 at 19:22. Canucks goalie Jacob Markstrom allowed three goals on 27 shots.
