Muzzin scores in OT, Kings shut out Ducks

Jake Muzzin scored on the power play 2:55 into overtime to give the Los Angeles Kings a 1-0 win against the Anaheim Ducks at Staples Center.

Darcy Kuemper made 20 saves for the Kings, who were 5-1-1 in the preseason and play their season opener against the Philadelphia Flyers on Oct. 5.
John Gibson made 35 saves for the Ducks, who finished the preseason 3-3-1 and open the regular season against the Arizona Coyotes on Oct. 5.
