Getzlaf-car 9-21

Anaheim Ducks fans learned that you never know who you'll bump into when you attend an NHL preseason game.
Captain Ryan Getzlaf and other Ducks who did not dress for their first home preseason game posed as members of the event staff and greeted fans who attended Anaheim's game against the Arizona Coyotes at Honda Center on Wednesday.

Getzlaf and forward Nick Ritchie served as parking lot attendants. Jakob Silfverberg and Francois Beauchemin let people through the arena's gates as ticket scanners and made time to pose for photos.

Those who got food from Wahoo's Fish Tacos were served by Hampus Lindholm, Rickard Rakell and Logan Shaw. Others who entered a 50/50 raffle may have bumped into Brandon Montour or Josh Manson.

With the regular season fast approaching, the lucky fans who got to meet their favorite Ducks ought to relish the opportunity. Anaheim players will still be highly visible at regular-season games, but only on the ice.
