Maple Leafs Complete Trade With Los Angeles

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has traded forward Scott Laughton to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a conditional third-round selection in the 2026 NHL Draft.

In the event Los Angeles secures a spot in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the third-round selection will become a second-round selection. The second-round pick will be Buffalo’s selection previously acquired by Los Angeles.
