After starting the trip so well with three consecutive victories, the Bolts head for home having gone 3-2-0 out west.
Struggles with the man advantage plagued Tampa Bay in Saturday's loss. The Bolts failed to convert on any of their six power play opportunities and only registered seven shots on goal on them.
The Lightning will now return to Tampa where they'll open a three-game homestand on Tuesday against Minnesota.

The Flames made quick work of their second power play of the afternoon, grabbing the lead six seconds into the opportunity. Calgary won the opening draw and Tyler Toffoli's shot from the top of the left circle was deflected through Andrei Vasilevskiy's five-hole by Nazem Kadri stationed in the slot.

Noah Hanafin tried to clear the puck out of the corner but nearly whiffed on the puck and passed it directly to Steven Stamkos at the right circle. Stamkos wasted no time, one-timing the turnover past Dan Vladar to draw the Bolts level.

Tampa Bay took the lead 48 seconds later on a fortunate bounce in front of the Flames net. Nick Paul threw the puck toward the crease and Vladar tried to poke check it out of danger. It wound up taking a deflection off Vladislav Namestnikov's skate and over the line to give Tampa Bay the lead.

Vasilevskiy dove to try and deny Toffoli on a rebound at the far post, taking himself out of position. Instead of shooting, Toffoli tried a wraparound, throwing the puck out front on his backhand and getting credit for the goal when it deflected in off Victor Hedman's skate.

Another inadvertent deflection off Victor Hedman led to Calgary retaking the lead late in the second period. Hedman was trying to remove Blake Coleman from the shooting lane but had Rasmus Andersson's point shot deflect off his side and past Vasilevskiy.

Calgary got an important insurance goal in the third to open a two-goal advantage. Dillon Dube came flying down the left wing on the rush and snapped a shot past Vasilevskiy's glove.

As he so often does when the Bolts are down by two, Jon Cooper opted for an early pull of Vasilevskiy and the Bolts scored to pull back within a goal. The puck squirted free for Anthony Cirelli at the side of the net and he swept it home to make it 4-3.

Calgary put the game away with an empty net goal at 17:44. Milan Lucic chipped the puck ahead for Jonathan Huberdeau to score.
