Seattle Kraken Acquire Fourth-Round Draft Pick from Winnipeg

The Kraken will receive Winnipeg's 2023 fourth-round pick in exchange for Mason Appleton

SEATTLE, Wash. - March 20, 2022 - Today, the Seattle Kraken (@SeattleKraken) announced that they have acquired a 2023 fourth-round draft pick from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for forward Mason Appleton. The move gives Seattle 23 picks in the next two entry drafts.
"Mason brought a hard-working effort to the rink and we want to thank him for his time with the Kraken," said Kraken General Manager Ron Francis.

Appleton recorded 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) in 49 games for the Kraken this season. He was originally Selected by Seattle from Winnipeg in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft.
