A look at the game “by the numbers.”

  • The Kraken definitely earned this win. In 5-on-5 play they had 63.6-percent of all shot attempts that equated to 67.2-percent of all shot quality.
  • In all situations the home team had eight high-danger chances while allowing just one and created eight chances off the rush while permitting just four from Chicago.
  • Seattle didn’t just dictate pace of play, they dictated location. 27:10 of the entire game was spent in the Kraken’s offensive zone which is seven-plus more minutes than Chicago.
  • The penalty kill was perfect for the fifth straight game and eighth in the last 10.
  • 14 different Kraken skaters earned at least one point in this game with six different players scoring seven goals.
  • A second straight monster night for the Pierre-Eduoard Bellmare line. They had the biggest offensive advantage of any line in the game with 76-plus percent of all shot attempts and over 80-percent of all shot quality.
  • Kailer Yamamoto scored for the second straight game and earned the game winner in each. He was second only to Tye Kartye for individual shot quality created.
  • The Alex Wennberg was also dominant offensively and was one of two lines (the other was Matty Beniers’) that kept Connor Bedard limited to just two even strength shots on goal this game.
  • Of all skaters in the game, the top five according to game score were: Ryker Evans, Yamamoto, Bellemare, Oliver Bjorkstrand and Vince Dunn.
  • Joey Daccord didn’t have as big of a workload as he had versus Florida last game, but he was solid nonetheless turning away all but one of the 41 pucks sent his way. That was good enough to earn his seventh quality start of the season.
  • Opponents have scored two goals or fewer on Daccord in each of his last five appearances. That ties the longest streak with two or fewer goals against in Kraken history.
