LA Skating Academy, the learn-to-skate program at Toyota Sports Performance Center (TSPC), the official practice facility of the LA Kings, has been recognized by Learn to Skate USA® for an outstanding 2025-26 season. The program earned a No. 1 national ranking and four program awards after growing to 5,155 members, giving thousands of Southern Californians their first step onto the ice.
LA Skating Academy grew from 3,536 members in 2024-25 to 5,155 in 2025-26, an increase of nearly 46 percent. That growth reflects Toyota Sports Performance Center's commitment to making skating accessible in a region where many residents have never laced up a pair of skates.
