Anze Kopitar broke a franchise record last night as he played his 1,112 game and moved into second place in all-time games played for the Kings, trailing only to linemate Dustin Brown.
The Kings killed off all three of the Sharks' power-play chances, improving to 97-for-114 on the penalty kill this season, ranking second in the NHL in PK percentage (85.1 pct.).
