The Kings entered Thursday night's affair coming off of an impressive team win over the reigning Eastern Conference champion Tampa Bay Lightning. Unfortunately, that feeling of the dominance that the Kings showed on Tuesday was short lived. The Kings did start the game in controlling fashion for the first 15 minutes, outshooting the Winnipeg Jets 16-1 and more importantly outscoring the visitors 3-1. But that is when the script flipped as the Jets would finish the remaining 45 minutes of the game outscoring the Kings 5-1.
Jonathan Quick made his third consecutive start for the Kings and stopped 13 of 18 shots faced.
10/27 - Kings 4, Jets 6
