The Kings dropped their second consecutive game on Thursday night, falling 4-0 to the Dallas Stars at Crypto.com Arena.
The Kings allowed three goals in the first period for the fourth time this season, all coming at even strength. Two Tyler Seguin highlighted the night as the 13-year veteran notched goals 13 and 14 on the season. By night's end, the Kings outshot the Stars 34-24, with the separating factor being a 14-2 shot difference in favor of the trailing Kings in the third period. Thursday's game was just the third time this season that the Kings were shutout.
Pheonix Copley started for the Kings for the 15th time this season. After allowing four goals on 17 shots through the first 27:27 of gameplay, Copley was pulled and replaced by Jonathan Quick. Quick stopped all seven shots faced in relief.
